I bought this new off the lot from Matt Slapp Subaru in Newark DE in 2002. It was the first year they came out and it was one of the first WRX's delivered to NA and the first one ever sold by that dealer. It didn't take long for them to become hugely popular but when I took delivery of mine there were very few around. I ended up trading it in on the Dodge Dakota after I went broke, but that's another story.
